Ralph White III Involved in Stolen Vehicle Crash in Rodeo, Killing Innocent Victim on Parker Avenue

 
RODEO, CA (March 27, 2023) – Police arrested 20-year-old Ralph Ellsworth White III after a stolen vehicle crash on Parker Avenue on March 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Fourth Street around 7:20 PM. Based on a report, police spotted the suspect inside a stolen white Mazda SUV heading toward Hercules and conducted a pursuit.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the SUV slammed into a gray Nissan. Officers said they lost the vehicle until they came upon it at the scene of the crash.
 
As a result, a mother inside the Nissan died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
Her 6-year-old twins suffered severe injuries. One of the victims was airlifted to Oakland Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
 
Police said White fled the scene but they located and arrested him at a local store. He is facing multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter and leading a pursuit causing death or great bodily injury. He is being held at the Contra Costa County jail in Martinez on $375,000 bail.
