PLANTERSVILLE, TX (December 13, 2022) — Peter Batiste of Spring died after a motorcycle accident on County Road 204 and State Highway 105 on Thursday afternoon, December 1.

The fatal collision happened at around 4:05 p.m. and involved a 2007 Lexus and a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said the Lexus headed south on County Road 204 while the Suzuki, driven by 26-year-old Batiste, traveled westbound on SH-105. For reasons still unknown, the driver of the Lexus did not yield the right of way before colliding with the motorcycle.

The force of impact inflicted fatal injuries to Batiste.

The driver of the Lexus emerged from the crash unharmed.
