Madison Lake, Cindy Griffin Die in Fort Worth Car Crash on River Oaks Boulevard

 
FORT WORTH, TX (December 14, 2022) — Mother and daughter, Cindy Griffin and Madison Lake, died while Bishop Kline suffered injuries following a crash on River Oaks Boulevard on Wednesday night, November 30.

The fatal collision occurred in the 4400 block of River Oaks Boulevard, according to the River Oaks Police Department which responded to the scene at around 9:20 p.m.

Authorities said that two pickup trucks were allegedly racing eastbound on River Oaks Boulevard.

One of the racing vehicles then slammed into the car 37-year-old Griffin was driving, who had 17-year-old Lake and her daughter’s 20-year-old boyfriend, Kline, as passengers.

The force of impact inflicted fatal injuries to Griffin and Lake, both of whom died at the scene.

Kline survived the incident but ended up in critical condition at a hospital.

One of the racing drivers was also transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

No charges have been issued, as of Thursday. However, the crash is still under investigation.
