Pedestrian Dies in Mobility Scooter-Car Crash on West 11th Street

 
TRACY, CA (December 5, 2022) – A pedestrian in a mobility scooter died after a collision with a car on West 11th Street early Thursday morning, December 1.

Authorities received a report of the fatal accident around 5:45 a.m. involving a pedestrian and an unidentified vehicle.

The pedestrian died at the scene. Their identity has not been released yet.

The details surrounding the crash remains unknown but police said that the driver was in their 60s who stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officials closed off West 11th Street from Tracy Boulevard to Lincoln Boulevard for investigation purposes but has since reopened.

The crash is under investigation.
