Pedestrian Dies After North Hollywood Hit-and-Run on Vineland Avenue

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 26, 2024) — A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run on Vineland Avenue on Thursday afternoon, January 18.

The fatal incident involving a white sedan occurred at around 1:05 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officials stated that a person had walked across the street outside of a crosswalk when the sedan, which had headed north on Vineland Avenue, slammed into them.

The collision left the stricken victim with fatal injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan did not stay at the scene and fled north.

The case is still under investigation, and the search for the suspect continues.
