Fatal Los Angeles Hit-and-Run on Crenshaw Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES (January 26, 2024) — One cyclist lost a life following involvement in a hit-and-run crash on Crenshaw Boulevard on January 17.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. not far from Stocker Street.

Based on a report, a northbound vehicle struck the cyclist under circumstances that are still not determined. Due to impact, the victim was thrown into the air before hitting the ground.

Another vehicle arrived in the area and crashed into the victim again.

The driver of the first car rendered aid, while the driver of the second car fled the scene.

Responders confirmed that the victim was dead at the scene later on.

Authorities are now looking into the second driver. Investigation revealed that the involved vehicle was a sedan. There is a reward up to $50,000 for those who can tell the whereabouts of the suspect.
