One Person Dead in Hit-and-Run Crash on East Charleston Boulevard near Fremont Street

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 30, 2023) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident on East Charleston Boulevard on Friday, November 24.
 
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers received reports of an injured man lying in a parking lot. They then responded to the scene of the incident at the 2800 block of East Charleston Boulevard near Fremont Street just before 8:40 p.m.
 
When officers arrived, they discovered a man suffering from blunt force injuries. The man died at the scene. The Clark County coroner’s office will release his identity pending family notification.
 
Police said the victim stood outside and argued with someone inside the car. Then the vehicle drove off and struck the victim.
 
The suspect left the area before authorities arrived.
