LAS VEGAS, NV (May 8, 2024) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run near 215 Freeway in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the deadly hit-and-run took near the I-215 Summerlin Parkway northbound off-ramp at about 5:05 a.m.
 
According to the initial investigation, an unknown suspect fatally struck a male pedestrian in the area. Then the vehicle fled the scene shortly after.
 
Officers described the involved suspect vehicle in the hit-and-run as a 2017-2021 Honda Civic with an unknown color. Troopers said the vehicle sustained damage to its right front end.
 
Authorities ask the public for help to identify and locate the suspect. They urge anyone with information to call the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division at (702) 486-4100.
