Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Berry Street in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (March 23, 2023) – Fort Worth police confirmed that a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run on Berry Street on March 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Mitchell Boulevard around 12:30 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim in the lanes.
 
Subsequently, the driver kept going, leaving the pedestrian with grave injuries.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where they later died. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Officers did not release a description of the suspect vehicle. In addition, they ask anyone with information to contact the Fort Worth Police Department.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
