SEATTLE, WA (February 2, 2024) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a pedestrian died in an accident on 4th Avenue South on January 24.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South Industrial Way shortly before 5:00 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was on the road before the incident.
 
Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle heading north on 4th Avenue South hit him.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
