Pedestrian Hit and Killed on Denton Highway in Haltom City

 
HALTOM CITY, TX (December 5, 2022) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Denton Highway on Wednesday evening, November 23.

According to authorities, the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 5500 block of Denton Highway. The details leading to the crash have not been disclosed but authorities believe that at least one northbound vehicle hit the pedestrian.

When responding officers arrived at the scene, officials pronounced the man dead.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Authorities closed off Denton Highway/377 from Loop 820 to Browning Boulevard for clearing operations and further investigation into the crash.
