RENO, NV (November 14, 2022) – One person died in a pedestrian-vehicle accident on Mira Loma Drive and McCarran Boulevard on October 24.

The Reno Police Department said a northbound vehicle was driving on McCarran Boulevard when it turned right towards eastbound Mira Loma Drive. The vehicle then struck a pedestrian.

As a result, a man sustained life-threatening injuries. Reno Police Department confirmed his death two days later on Wednesday night.

The identity of the victim will not be released until next of kin is notified of the incident.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police say.

Impairment is not a considered factor in the crash. However, there are no other details disclosed regarding the crash at the moment.
