DALLAS, TX (April 29, 2024) — A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run on Petal Street on Saturday, April 13.
 
According to the Dallas police, the accident occurred at the 11200 block of Petal Street just west of Jupiter Road at about 2:45 a.m.
 
The initial investigation determined a vehicle struck a man walking on Petal Street. After that, the driver left the scene without stopping.
 
The identity of the man was not immediately available. Dallas police said they would not release his name until they have notified his family.
 
Dallas police said there is no information yet on the description of the suspect car.
