DENVER, CO (November 20, 2024) — One person died in a hit-and-run on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Sunday, November 3.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the fatal crash happened in the 11000 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 3:41 a.m.
 
DPD officials said the collision involved two vehicles. Additionally, they said the driver who caused the crash left the scene on foot. A passenger in that vehicle died at the scene.
 
Police officials said through a social media post that the extent of the other driver’s injuries is not yet available.
 
There are no reports on whether impairment played a role in the hit-and-run.
 
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased.
