Pansy Martinez Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (April 18, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 50-year-old Pansy Lisa Martinez as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on South Wilmot Road on March 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at East Golf Links Road.
 
Based on a report, Martinez was in a crosswalk walking against a green traffic signal to cross Golf Links at the time of the crash. At that point, a westbound car struck her.
 
As a result, Martinez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
An officer from TPD’s Impaired Driver Enforcement unit determined that the driver was not impaired at the time of the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
