Man Fixing Car Hit by Car, Dies in Houston Accident on Tomball Parkway
HOUSTON, TX (December 21, 2022) – The Houston Police Department confirmed that an SUV struck and killed a man in an accident on Tomball Parkway near Greens Road on December 18.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just before midnight near the Willowbrook area.
Based on a report, the victim got out of his Honda sedan after it stalled in the main lanes. While he was trying to repair his car, an SUV hit his sedan from behind before hitting him.
As a result, the man died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
The SUV driver was also hurt and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
As of now, an investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
