TUCSON, AZ (April 16, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident on April 4.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 19 Freeway around 7:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bicycle when he collided with a vehicle.
 
As a result, the cyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment.
 
Detectives are still working to figure out what led up to the crash.
