Pedestrian Struck and Seriously Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on Nellis Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 8, 2024) – The Las Vegas Police Department confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Nellis Boulevard on April 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Craig Road around 7:50 AM. Based on a report, a man was walking on the west sidewalk on Nellis Boulevard at the time of the accident.
 
At the same time, a white 2008 Chevrolet Equinox was on the same road. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and hit the man. Police said the vehicle immediately fled the scene.
 
As a result, the man suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Police later recovered the Chevrolet but not the driver. They are asking anyone with information to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section at 702-828-3595.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
