Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 in Lynwood

 
LYNNWOOD, WA (April 3, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Highway 99 on March 19.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 148th Street around 8:51 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was in the center lane of the southbound lane of the highway at the time of the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. Security footage from a nearby business described it as a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla.
 
As a result, the pedestrian was severely hurt in the incident.
