SPANGLE, WA (February 26, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one driver suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash on East Keevy Road on February 15.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South Old Street around 12:12 PM. Based on a report, the victim’s vehicle collided with a semi-truck hauling grain head-on.
 
The car was impacted on the passenger side of the vehicle mainly. Subsequently, the car caught fire in the incident.
 
Spangle Fire crews responded and extricated the driver who was unconscious at that point, They took the victim to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The driver of the semi-truck remained on the scene.
