SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 9, 2024) – Officials one person suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident on Pima Road on March 28.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thompson Peak Parkway. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bicycle near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the cyclist collided with a vehicle.
 
As a result, the cyclist sustained serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment,
 
Crews also closed the intersection while they worked on the scene.
