Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 30 Freeway in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (April 9, 2024) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on 30 Freeway on March 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Brentwood Stair Road around 6:30 a.m. Based on a report, the pedestrian tried to cross the highway on foot. Police said multiple vehicles might have hit the man. All drivers fled the scene.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews closed the westbound lanes of the freeway while they worked at the scene.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. However, no other details regarding the accident are currently available at this time.
