SURPRISE, AZ (April 20, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident on 147th Lane on April 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Cactus Road. Based on a report, the bicyclist was traveling near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a semi-truck hit the victim.
 
As a result, the unnamed bicyclist sustained major injuries. Emergency crews responded transported the victim to a West Valley area hospital for treatment.
