Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Occurs on 10 Freeway at Piedras Street in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (November 10, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a crash on westbound 10 Freeway on November 8.
 
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened at Piedras Street.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. Subsequently, the impact ejected an occupant from one of the cars.
 
As a result, El Paso Police said the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews closed a large stretch of the freeway, prompting the Texas Dept. of Transportation (TX DOT) to divert traffic to the Copia exit (22A).
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
