Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on 19th Avenue in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (January 10, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that one person died in a crash on 19th Avenue on December 30.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Greenway Road shortly after 10:30 PM. Based on the report, officers responded to the scene and found two vehicles that crashed.
 
As a result, the driver of one of the vehicles sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Police did not release any details about what led up to the incident.
