MESA, AZ (February 2, 2024) – The Mesa Police Department confirmed that one person died in a rollover crash on Stapley Drive on January 29.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Brown Road at approximately 6:00 AM. Based on a report, a pickup truck and SUV collided at the intersection.
 
Due to the impact, the pickup truck rolled over in the lanes.
 
As a result, one person suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said crews transported several people to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
