Fatal Rollover Crash Occurs on Highway 290 Service Road in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (November 15, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a rollover crash in the 9300 block of Highway 290 Service Road on November 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the eastbound lanes just before 7:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. Subsequently, the impact ejected the passengers from the vehicles.
 
As a result, Austin-Travis County EMS said that one victim died in the incident. Officers did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending next of kin notification.
 
Crews transported another person to Dell Seton with critical, life-threatening injuries. Two others at the scene did not need require hospitalization.
