DALLAS, TX (November 15, 2022) – Dallas police confirmed that one person died in an accident on Cockrell Hill Road on November 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Illinois Avenue around 2:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, a pickup truck was heading south on Cockrell Hill Road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, its driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole.
 
As a result, one person died in the incident. Officers did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending next of kin notification.
 
Another victim suffered critical injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
