One Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Wrondel Way in Reno

 
RENO, NV (December 29, 2023) – The Reno Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Wrondel Way on December 15.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hubbard Way around 6:37 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk during the accident.
 
Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the victim and left the scene.
 
Police responded with crews from Reno Fire and REMSA. They reported that the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
