Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Dean Martin Drive at Ponderosa Way in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 29, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 26-year-old man from Las Vegas died in a motorcycle accident on Dean Martin Drive on December 25.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Ponderosa Way around 12:50 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle south on Dean Martin Drive at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, a sprinter van was traveling north on the same road. When the van attempted to turn left at the Ponderosa Way intersection, a collision occurred. The motorcyclist was then thrown from the vehicle and onto the road.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the van stayed at the scene after the crash and showed no signs of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
