Motorcyclist Involved in Fatal Accident on Signal Butte Road in Maricopa County

 
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (December 29, 2023) – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Signal Butte Road on December 23.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at University Drive shortly after 5:30 AM. Based on the report, the victim was driving a motorcycle when it crashed into a vehicle.
 
As a result, the rider suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene without sustaining any injuries.
 
The MCSO Vehicle Crimes Unit is investigating the crash and did not release any further information.
