Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on South College Avenue in Fort Collins

 
FORT COLLINS, CO (October 31, 2023) – The Fort Collins Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident in the 4600 block of South College Avenue on October 15.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 7:28 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing from the east side of the street to the west side.
 
Subsequently, a 2008 white Chevrolet work van traveling southbound on College Avenue hit the victim. Police said the man was not in a crosswalk and was wearing dark-colored clothing at that time.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Officers ask anyone with information about the crash to contact Officer Philip Morris at 970-221-6540.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
