FOUNTAIN, CO (March 20, 2024) – The Fountain Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Mesa Ridge Parkway on March 7.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Fountain Mesa Road shortly before 1:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim who was near the intersection at that point.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The collision also closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Mesa Ridge Parkway.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
