One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Fort Apache Road at Peace Way in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 14, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Fort Apache Road on September 8.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Peace Way around 5:07 AM. Based on a report, the victim was walking on Fort Apache Road approaching the Rochelle Avenue intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 2023 Jeep Wrangler struck the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Officials said the driver of the vehicle initially left the scene after the crash. Later on, they were able to arrest and book the suspect into the Clark County Detention Center on charges related to the crash.
