One Struck and Killed by Vehicle on East Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 28, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on East Charleston Boulevard on March 19.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at South 10th Street around 9:06 PM. Based on a report, the 69-year-old pedestrian was crossing East Charleston Boulevard from north to south before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2019 Ford Escape was traveling east on the same road. As the vehicle was approaching a red traffic signal at South 10th Street, the pedestrian traveled into the vehicle’s path and was struck.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the red traffic signal cycled to green as the Ford approached the intersection.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
