AUSTIN, TX (December 8, 2022) – Austin Police confirmed that one person died after a pedestrian accident on Ben White Boulevard on November 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Riverside Drive around 8:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the pedestrian was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a pick-up truck hit the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died at a hospital. Officials did not yet release the identity of the victim, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with them.
