Carl Burris Jr. Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Accident near Livingston Municipal Airport

 
LIVINGSTON, TX (December 8, 2022) – Officials identified 56-year-old Carl Steven Burris Jr. of Livingston as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident near the Livingston Municipal Airport on December 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near the eastern shore of Lake Livingston shortly after 6:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, Burris was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he stepped out in front of a pickup truck and was struck.
 
Subsequently, his body flew approximately 80 feet away, while the front of the pickup sustained heavy damage.
 
As a result, he died at the scene.
 
Law enforcement identified the truck driver as 50-year-old Sean Patrick Curtis, also of Livingston.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
