AURORA, CO (November 29, 2023) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 70 Freeway on November 19.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at 225 Freeway around 3:16 AM. Based on a report, the victim was located near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Police said it was unclear why the man was walking on the highway. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported three other people to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
Police arrested the driver of the vehicle for investigation of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
