John Guerra Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Gollihar Road in Corpus Christi

 
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (November 29, 2023) – Corpus Christi police officers identified 68-year-old John Guerra who died in a hit-and-run in the 2700 block of Gollihar Road on November 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 7:10 PM. Based on a report, Guerra was pushing a shopping cart down Gollihar Road prior to the crash.
 
When he crossed the street outside a crosswalk, an unknown vehicle hit him and left the scene.
 
As a result, Guerra sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. Medics transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
