PEORIA, AZ (December 3, 2024) – The Peoria Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 68th Avenue on November 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Olive Avenue around 5:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim near the intersection.
 
As a result, the person suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Authorities said the driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with officers. They added that impairment and speed were not factors in the collision.
