Brandon Luevano Injured in Buckeye Motorcycle Accident on Perryville Road

 
BUCKEYE, AZ (December 2, 2024) — A Valley PE teacher, identified Brandon Luevano, was injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, November 7.
 
The Buckeye Police Department said the incident took place near Perryville Road and 10 Freeway on Thursday evening.
 
According to Buckeye Police, Luevano rode his motorcycle home from work. Then a driver failed to yield and hit Luevano on his motorcycle near Perryville Road.
 
First responders brought Brandon to Abrazo Hospital in Goodyear in critical condition. He sustained multiple injuries including a broken nose, a broken jaw, a broken sternum, a broken pelvis, and a fracture in his C-6. He also underwent a four-and-a-half-hour surgery and got five plates in his head.
 
In addition, Luevano also sustained a list of serious internal injuries and was in the ICU eight days following the incident. His parents made GoFundMe to help with his recovery.
 
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene. Police said are still determining whether speed or impairment contributed to the crash.
 
The Buckeye Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
