Fatal Aurora Motorcycle Accident on East Jewell Avenue and South Havana Street

 
AURORA, CO (December 3, 2024) — A man died following a motorcycle accident on East Jewell Avenue on Monday, November 18.
 
According to the Aurora Police Department, the collision occurred on East Jewell Avenue and South Havana Street at about 12:20 a.m.
 
Aurora Police said the man rode a stolen Harley Davidson westbound down East Jewell Avenue. Then an older, beige sedan intentionally side-swiped the motorcycle.
 
The sedan caused the motorcyclist to lose control of the bike. It then crashed at the intersection of East Jewell Avenue and South Havana Street.
 
Paramedics arrived and then transported the man to the hospital where he later died from sustained injuries. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release his identity, pending family notification.
 
Investigators continue to search for both the suspect driver and vehicle. They said the beige sedan most likely had damage in its passenger-side door.
