14-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Accident on Viewpoint Drive in Prescott Valley

 
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (December 3, 2024) – The Prescott Valley Police Department confirmed a 14-year-old boy died in a bicycle accident on Viewpoint Drive on November 12.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened between Manley Drive and Long Mesa Drive shortly before 5:30 PM. Based on a report, the boy was riding his bicycle on the road when a vehicle hit him.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews airlifted him to a hospital in the Phoenix area, where he later died. Police did not yet release his identity.
 
It was not clear if impairment or speed are believed to have played a factor.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
