One Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway
TUCSON, AZ (February 6, 2023) – Tucson police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on February 1.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Ina Road. Based on a report, the pedestrian was on the roadway at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the victim.
As a result, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
The crash also closed the eastbound lanes at milepost 248, between Cortaro and Ina roads.
Police did not suspect impairment as the cause of the crash. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
