Fatal Long Beach Car Crash on Magnolia Avenue

 
LONG BEACH, CA (February 6, 2023) – The Long Beach Police Department confirmed that one person died in a car crash on Magnolia Avenue on January 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hill Street at approximately 4:05 AM.
 
Based on a report, a 2021 Hyundai Sonata was speeding northbound along Magnolia prior to the crash. Subsequently, the car slammed into a 1996 Toyota Camry driving southbound.
 
As a result, the Toyota driver suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the name of the victim, pending kin notification.
 
The Sonata driver suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
