AVONDALE, AZ (February 6, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a bicycle accident on Avondale Boulevard on February 2.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Van Buren Street shortly before noon.
 
Based on a report, the victim’s bicycle collided with two other vehicles. As of now, officials have not yet released the circumstances that led to the crash.
 
As a result, officials said the victim died in the incident. They did not release the deceased’s name, pending next of kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported the two drivers of the vehicles to the hospital with minor injuries.
