Cars and Pedestrians Involved in Phoenix Accident on 23rd Avenue

 
PHOENIX, AZ (February 14, 2023) – Phoenix police confirmed that a man died in an accident on 23rd Avenue on February 8.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Northern Avenue around 1:00 PM. Based on a report, a woman was traveling near the intersection when she crashed into two other cars.
 
Subsequently, one of the cars hit the victim on the sidewalk and a pole next to him. Another car then struck a woman who was also standing on the sidewalk. Police said the driver who caused the crash fled away from the scene.
 
As a result, the victim died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Paramedics transported the female pedestrian and the two other drivers to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the police are looking for the driver. In addition, an investigation is underway.
