Douglas Gin Identified in Fatal Five-Vehicle Crash in Longmont
LONGMONT, CO (July 26, 2024) – Officials identified 58-year-old Douglas Gin who died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 287 on July 5.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Oxford Road. Based on a report, a call came into Boulder County Dispatch that five cars collided in the lanes.
Officers said it was a high-speed, head-on collision.
As a result, Gin suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
Mountain View Fire transported four other people to hospitals, three of whom had critical injuries.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
