Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Hampden Avenue in Englewood

 
ENGLEWOOD, CO (August 8, 2023) – The Englewood Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Hampden Avenue on July 30.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened just west of South Broadway around 2:50 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the victim collided with a vehicle, forcing the closure of eastbound Hampden Avenue for more than three hours.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
