Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on Airport Road at Sand Creek Drive in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 26, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Airport Road on October 13.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Sand Creek Drive. Based on a report, an SUV was heading north on Sand Creek Drive at the time of the crash.
As it was attempting to make a left turn, a motorcycle going east on Airport Road hit it.
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
Officials did not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
